Shipping Responsibilities

Sellers

• Packaging: Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all livestock and items are appropriately packaged for safe and humane transportation. This includes adhering to any relevant regulations or standards for the transportation of animals.
• Shipping Method: Sellers must select a shipping method that ensures the timely and safe delivery of livestock. This may include hiring specialized livestock transport services.
• Shipping Costs: The seller is responsible for specifying shipping costs in their listings. Shipping costs should be fair and reflect the actual cost of transportation.
• Shipping Confirmation: Sellers must provide buyers with a shipping confirmation, including tracking information if available, once the item has been dispatched.

Buyers

• Shipping Address: Buyers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. Any errors or omissions in the shipping address provided by the buyer may result in delivery delays or additional charges.
• Shipping Costs: Buyers are responsible for paying the shipping costs as specified in the seller’s listing. These costs will be included in the total transaction amount at checkout.
• Receipt of Shipment: Buyers are responsible for being available to receive the shipment upon delivery. This includes making any necessary arrangements for the proper care and handling of the livestock upon arrival.

Shipping Process

Order Processing

• Once an order is placed, the seller will process the order and prepare it for shipment. Sellers are encouraged to dispatch orders as promptly as possible, ideally within 1-3 business days.
• The seller must update the order status to “shipped” and provide the buyer with tracking information if available.

Delivery Time

• Delivery times vary depending on the distance between the seller and buyer, the shipping method selected, and other factors such as weather conditions and regulatory inspections.
• Sellers should provide an estimated delivery time in their listings. Buyers should be aware that delivery times are estimates and may be subject to change.

Shipping Conditions

Livestock Shipping

• Livestock must be transported in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of the animals.
• Sellers must use reputable livestock transport services that comply with industry standards for humane treatment and care during transportation.

Non-Livestock Items

• For non-livestock items, sellers must ensure that items are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
• Tracking information should be provided for non-livestock items whenever possible.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

Reporting Issues

• If a shipment arrives damaged or is lost in transit, the buyer must report the issue to the seller and Mai Pashu App support within 24 hours of receipt or expected delivery.
• The buyer should provide detailed information about the damage or loss, including photos if applicable.

Resolution Process

• Mai Pashu App will work with both the buyer and seller to resolve any issues related to damaged or lost shipments. This may include issuing refunds, arranging for replacements, or other appropriate actions.
• The outcome will depend on the specific circumstances of the issue and the evidence provided by both parties.

International Shipping

• International shipping of livestock is subject to additional regulations and requirements, including import/export permits, health certifications, and quarantine procedures.
• Sellers must comply with all international shipping regulations and ensure that all necessary documentation is provided.
• Buyers are responsible for any additional fees, such as import duties, taxes, and quarantine costs, associated with international shipments.
